   Got this book on gut instinct as soon as I saw it was being published. I have always liked Brad Sugars work, and the truisms and no nonsense approach to his thinking. Lots of pretend ‘guru’s out there but this chap is the real deal… This is an excellent book and way exceeded my expectations (which were pretty high anyway). A heads up to people too… new strategy… great way to read Pulling profits… read it the first time, like a novel though…no note taking or reflecting too much… leave it a few days then read it again in detail, and spot the wisdom and pearls. I read a lot… no really… a lot, and this is a Top read… I am on my 3rd read… even have it on my Kindle too. Even on the third read, new stuff pops out at you. Excellent in every way. Thank you Mr S

   Wow this is a high quality book – full colour hardback edition just says quality – probably not for the briefcase so buy the Kindle edition as well. Not disappointed with the content either – well set out with easy to follow logic based around the 5 Disciplines that govern a company’s success – Strategy, Business Development, People, Execution and Mission. There is a lot to digest and the contents will trigger a lot of other insights along the way. Written in an enjoyable way rather than the text book manner of many others in this genre. Recommended.

   It really takes a lot for me to leave a negative review. But this book is only useful if you’re looking for a doorstop or paperweight. I bought a copy direct from the publisher – at great expense. But I wanted to share my findings with a wider audience. Honestly, it pains me to comment negatively on someone’s work, but I’m afraid it’s totally necessary here.

   It’s full of the same rehashed jingoisms as you’ll find in any other Brad Sugars book. The contents are patronising and the advice is limited. It’s written in an incredibly repetitive format and has been badly edited so that there are huge sections of text that are repeated across the book. I emailed the team behind it to let them know but never received a reply. It’s an over-produced, childishly illustrated book that is unlikely to give you any useful takeaways. Best way to improve your bottom line? Don’t spend any money on this book! That way you’ll be slightly better off.

   Also take a look at those 5 star reviews… at least one is left by one of Brad Sugars’ Action Coach franchisees! Hmmmm…
